Catholic Middle/High School Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time middle/high school teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. This role involves teaching in a classical and Catholic classroom environment, with potential classes including Math, Science, and Latin. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, the academy will provide all necessary training. The position is hourly, with childcare/nursery provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. This is an in-person, on-site position held on Mondays and Thursdays only. Tutors are expected to prepare for classes at home and teach in a highly structured environment. Mandatory training will be held in August (date TBD) from 8 am to 5 pm, with no childcare provided during this training period (nursing babies are welcome). All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to employment.
Requirements
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organization.
- Timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Willingness to complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.
- Availability for mandatory training in August.

- Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
- Ministry experience in a Catholic parish.
- Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
