Catholic Middle/High School Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time middle/high school teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. This role involves teaching in a classical and Catholic classroom environment on Mondays and Thursdays. Classes may include Math, Science, and Latin. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. The position is hourly, with childcare/nursery provided. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be supplied, and tutors will receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The role requires strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and a commitment to living the Catholic faith daily, including receiving appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to employment. This is an in-person, on-site position requiring preparation for classes at home and teaching in a highly structured environment. Mandatory training will be held in August (TBD) from 8 am to 5 pm, with no childcare provided (nursing babies are welcome).
Requirements
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to your state in life.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organization.
- Timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Must be available for mandatory training in August.
- Must complete a background check.
- Must complete RCA Safe Child training.

- Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
- Ministry experience in a Catholic parish.
