About The Position
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire Middle and High School Math Tutors. This is a face-to-face opportunity only. Tutors should be equipped to accelerate student learning using a variety of curriculum resources. You will use student data to differentiate math instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed. Tutors must be available after school and on weekends. Prospects must pass a comprehensive background check. Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development are provided. You must be prepared to navigate varying technology, both hardware and software, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. You must have a proactive approach to work to complete deliverables on time and maintain a proper work-life balance. Multiple positions are available.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
- Available after school and on weekends.
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Prepared to navigate varying technology, both hardware and software, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
