About The Position
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, seeks to hire Middle School Math Tutors. This is a face-to-face opportunity only. Tutors should be equipped to accelerate student learning using various curriculum resources provided by the school and partner organizations. You will use student data to differentiate math instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience tutoring or teaching in the middle school math subject areas.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.
- Must have availability during the school day, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate student learning using various curriculum resources provided by the school and partner organizations.
- Use student data to differentiate math instruction for students.
- Adapt lesson plans as needed.
- Proactively approach work to complete timely deliverables and maintain a work-life balance.
