Elementary School ELA & Math Tutor- Clayton County Area
About The Position
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire Elementary School Math & ELA Tutors for grades 3-5 in the Clayton County area. This is a face-to-face opportunity only. Tutors will be responsible for accelerating student learning using a variety of curriculum resources, differentiating math and ELA instruction based on student data, and adapting lesson plans as needed. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching the subject areas. Tutors must be available after school and on weekends. Prospects must pass a comprehensive background check. Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development are provided. Additionally, tutors must be prepared to navigate varying technology, both hardware and software, and troubleshoot technical issues. A proactive approach to work is essential to complete deliverables on time and maintain a proper work-life balance. Multiple positions are available.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
