About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Mid Targeting Analyst to support our USSPACECOM program in Huntsville, AL. This role involves providing recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. The analyst will perform, document, and track database nominations, create and update databases, and upload targeting materials (TMs) into databases, including relevant space/counter-space data into the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB) in a format compatible with targeting processes and tools like the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT) on a weekly basis. Responsibilities include developing daily target nomination packets, creating database records, and producing database target intelligence products. The Targeting Analyst will also produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments, assist with combat assessment requirements, conduct monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development, and provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.

Requirements

Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
8 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category with at least four years of the experience within the last 2 years.
Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 12 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Develops daily target nomination packets, create database records, and database target intelligence products.
Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments.
Assists with combat assessment requirements.
Conducts monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development.
Provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.
