About The Position

Bcore is hiring a Mid Software Developer for its Insight Solutions division, which delivers intelligence analysis, advanced data science, and strategic decision support. The role supports customer missions by bridging complex business problems and software solutions, applying technical and methodological innovation to mission-ready work. The position is hybrid, onsite in Vienna, VA and Chantilly, VA, with up to three days remote.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph required to start.
At least 3 years of full-stack software development experience leveraging multiple programming languages, such as Python, Groovy, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java, or Node.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; additional experience may be substituted for education.
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
Basic understanding of relational database design principles, including normalization and denormalization.
General knowledge of database administration concepts, including users, schemas, and constraints.
Experience with multimedia streaming technologies and video processing workflows, including encoding, transcoding, and clipping.
Experience with real-time monitoring and alerting systems for production system health, such as CloudWatch or Splunk.
Experience with API design and implementation.
Experience working with a DevOps team.
Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.

Nice To Haves

Direct experience working with CrafterCMS.
Experience with audio/video analytics, including audio segmentation and speaker diarization technologies.
Experience with video metadata extraction and automated content summarization.
Experience integrating transcription and translation services.
Experience developing and optimizing AI-enabled transcription and translation services.
Experience with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural design pattern.
Java experience for backend development.
JavaScript and TypeScript experience for frontend development.
Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS.
Amazon Developer Associate or Amazon Solutions Architect Associate certification.
