About The Position

ADF Engineering is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Structural Engineer to join its team in Dayton, Ohio. The engineer will work with engineers, designers, multidisciplinary teams, and clients to develop creative, efficient, and safe structural designs for industrial projects across multiple industries. The role involves direct client interaction and participation throughout projects, from concept to completion. ADF provides process and facility engineering services for industries including food, feed, biofuels, pharmaceuticals, and grain processing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering results.
Attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience using finite element analysis software.
Proficiency with CAD software and structural modeling tools.
Background in reviewing and producing engineering drawings.
Experience in industrial settings such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, or biofuels.
Prior experience in a consulting engineering role.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and model structural systems using CAD and finite element analysis tools.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to solve engineering challenges.
Review and develop structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and best practices.
