About The Position

At Corpay, we are looking for a driven, competitive, and consultative Mid-Market Field Sales Executive to help expand our presence across the trucking and transportation industry in the Dallas, Texas market. This is a field-based position supporting the Dallas territory. Candidates must currently live within the Dallas geographic market and be able to travel consistently throughout the assigned territory. You will own the Dallas market and focus on acquiring mid-market fleet customers, primarily carriers operating approximately 50–200 vehicles. You will work directly with fleet owners, operations leaders, controllers, and financial decision-makers to understand their business and introduce payment and technology solutions designed to improve fuel spend, cash flow, visibility, and operational control. This is a true new-business sales opportunity for someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships, developing pipeline, and winning business. Requirements

  • Must currently reside within the Dallas, Texas geographic market
  • Ability and willingness to travel consistently throughout the assigned Dallas territory for in-person prospect and customer meetings
  • 2–5 years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally within transportation, trucking, logistics, fleet services, payments, fintech, industrial services, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated success prospecting and generating net-new business
  • Experience owning and developing a geographic sales territory
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution
  • Strong consultative discovery skills with the ability to uncover business challenges, quantify impact, and communicate value
  • Ability to confidently engage fleet owners, operations leaders, controllers, and senior decision-makers
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage pipeline, activity, and forecasting
  • Strong business acumen, competitive drive, resilience, and personal accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and demonstrated business acumen

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of trucking or fleet operations, transportation economics, fuel management, payments, or financial technology is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the Dallas Territory & Build Pipeline: Develop and execute a strategic territory plan focused on identifying, prospecting, and winning new mid-market trucking and transportation customers throughout the Dallas market.
  • Hunt for New Business: Generate opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and consistent face-to-face engagement with prospects throughout your territory.
  • Lead Consultative Discovery: Go beyond surface-level selling. Understand how prospects operate today, uncover business challenges and financial impact, and identify opportunities where Corpay can deliver measurable value.
  • Sell Business Outcomes: Connect Corpay’s payment and technology solutions to customer priorities, including fuel management, cost control, cash flow, operational efficiency, visibility, and overall business performance.
  • Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Own opportunities from initial prospecting and discovery through solution presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Build Executive Relationships: Develop trusted relationships with fleet owners, operations executives, controllers, financial leaders, and other key decision-makers throughout the Dallas market.
  • Support the Early Customer Experience: Partner with internal teams to help ensure a smooth transition from signed agreement through onboarding, education, and early account adoption.
  • Own Your Pipeline & Forecast: Use Salesforce and internal systems to accurately manage sales activity, opportunities, pipeline progression, and forecasting.
  • Know Your Market: Become an expert on your Dallas territory. Stay informed about trucking economics, competitors, fleet challenges, payment technology, and evolving industry trends so you can bring a credible point of view to every customer conversation.
