About The Position

The Mid-Level Scheduler supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating, developing, maintaining, and analyzing project or program schedules. This includes creating, updating, and baselining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), identifying schedule variances, analyzing critical paths, and forecasting impacts to milestones. The role involves working with program managers, control account managers, and functional teams to gather updates and resolve conflicts, as well as preparing reports and briefings on schedule performance for managers. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines. Requirements

  • 1, or more, years of directly related experience
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project or other industry standard scheduling tool.
  • Basic understanding of aerospace defense.
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other EVM software tools.
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong math and research skills
  • Strong understanding of Earned Value Management methodologies.
  • Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of aerospace defense
  • Strong proficiency with Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other EVM software tools.etc. and financial systems
  • Professional certification such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project.
