Mid-Level Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer

Torch Technologies•Huntsville, AL
•Onsite

About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to join the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Simulation (IAMDSIM) software development team. The role designs, develops, and integrates real-time and digital simulation models into a larger distributed system-of-systems simulation. The team supports the full simulation lifecycle, including preprocessing scripts, integration of tactical and supporting simulation models, and post-processing data-analysis libraries. The engineer will work with engineers and technical personnel to develop and maintain modeling and simulation infrastructure, integrate missile-defense component models into larger simulation environments, and support verification, validation, analysis, and delivery of reliable simulation products. The position is customer-site based, follows a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule, and requires 0–10% travel. Relocation assistance is not available. The position is not contingent upon a contract award. Torch Technologies describes itself as a 100% employee-owned company, a Certified Great Place To Work, and a Certified Evergreen ESOP. It provides research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War, and is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama.
