About The Position

Precise Systems is hiring a Mid-level Full Stack .NET Web Developer for a fully remote role developing and supporting government-owned, web-based business applications used by more than 50,000 users across Navy acquisition organizations. The applications help customers manage contract portfolios and funding in support of the warfighter’s mission. The developer will contribute to scalable solutions, technical problem-solving, architectural decisions, and an ongoing product roadmap focused on expanded capabilities and customer experience. The role works with a collaborative team of more than 45 full-stack developers on a mature program undergoing continued modernization. The technology environment includes .NET Core, C#, C# Web APIs, Vue.js 3, TypeScript, Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures, Dapper, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, automated build pipelines, and Agile Kanban. The team follows a monthly software release cycle and uses Slack and Zoom in a fully remote environment with standard yet flexible working hours. The position is fully remote. Employees are expected to remain on camera for approximately 90% of the workday and maintain a professional, private, distraction-free workspace, reliable internet, availability during established working hours, and attendance at required virtual meetings. They must protect company and customer information and comply with company policies. Remote work is not a substitute for dependent or elder care. Employees may be required to report to a company or customer location based on business needs. A bachelor’s degree in a specified or related field is required, subject to the listed substitutions. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, and U.S. citizenship is required. The annual salary range is $80,000 to $120,000 USD; compensation depends on factors including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements.

Requirements

At least 3 years of software development experience.
At least 3 years of full-stack software development experience using C# Web APIs, Vue.js, React, or another modern JavaScript framework, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a collaborative remote team.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commitment to quality, teamwork, customer service, and mission success.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, information systems, or a related field; allowable substitutions are an associate degree in one of these fields plus three additional years of overall experience and the required specialized experience, or eight additional years of overall experience plus the required specialized experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level web applications with separated, service-oriented data-retrieval architecture.
Database development and query optimization experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
