About The Position

Futrend Technology, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Full Stack JavaScript Developer to support a high-visibility federal client. The role contributes to system enhancements, application development, data integration, and modernization initiatives in a collaborative Agile environment. The successful candidate will be an independent, versatile technologist who can work across complex codebases and contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

At least five years of application or systems development experience.
Strong understanding of procedural and object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
Demonstrated ability to work within large, complex codebases across the full technology stack.
Ability to complete assignments independently with minimal supervision.
Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
Self-motivated learner committed to expanding technical expertise and staying current with emerging technologies.
Experience with semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, MVC or similar, REST, JSON, NodeJS, ExpressJS, and NPM.
Extensive experience with the Angular framework.
Familiarity with functional and event-driven programming concepts, including callbacks, promises/futures, streaming, and reactive programming.
Experience coding algorithms to process complex data structures, including combinations of objects, lists, and hash tables.
Experience working with SQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB databases, and handling data through pipelines, ETL processes, and various file formats.
Extensive experience with Git source control, including advanced operations such as rebasing and squashing.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work with Linux environments and shell programming.
Working knowledge of Python and pip, and experience with numerical and data science libraries including Keras and NumPy to support machine learning implementation.
Knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms, including cloud-agnostic architectures and services.
Knowledge of Medical Subject Headings or other medical terminologies.
Experience and knowledge of MeSH.
