Microwave Tech II (2nd Shift)
About The Position
The individual selected for this position will build Micro-Electronic sub-assemblies. Working in the Manual cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every micro-electronics module. On the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS. This position supports our 2nd Shift and includes a 10% pay premium. The work week is a 4/10 schedule, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off. This role requires full-time, 100% onsite work at a BAE Systems facility due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Pick and place experience.
- Epoxy dispense experience.
- Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
- Familiar with MIL-STD-883
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and/or modify complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.
