About The Position

The Microwave & Antenna Electrical Engineer II will be responsible for participating in the development of state-of-the-art antenna subsystems for airborne radars. The primary role for this individual will be to perform analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing of phased array antennas. The individual should have experience in microwave measurement and verification techniques and contain a working knowledge of simulation tools and microwave test equipment. The Microwave & Antenna Electrical Engineer II should have knowledge and experience in simulating RF circuits and RF systems/sub-systems. The successful candidate will be capable of making technical presentations to peers, program leadership, and customers and assist program management in technical path forward.

Requirements

  • Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with using any of Keysight ADS and/or Matlab Simulink
  • Experience using RF modeling software such as CST or Ansys HFSS
  • Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e,. Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources, etc.)
  • Specific design experience with one or more of the following products (phased array antennas, modules, radiators, beam formers, power splitters, feed networks, couplers, filters, circulators, RF modules/assemblies)
  • Experience with microwave test equipment and calibration techniques especially use of a network analyzer; or experience in antenna range testing
  • Experience with antenna range test techniques
  • Experience with requirement generation and verification
  • Hardware experience at microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies
  • Current DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
