About The Position

The MicroVellum/Optimization Tech administers, develops, optimizes, and supports the site's MicroVellum environment and related manufacturing data systems. The role is the technical owner of product configuration, tooling, post processors, machine programming, batching rules, material management, and data integration throughout the manufacturing process. The Tech works closely with Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, IT, and equipment operators to support accurate product execution, efficient machine performance, new product launches, and continuous improvement of production processes.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience working with MicroVellum or similar manufacturing software platforms is preferred.
• Some experience supporting CNC manufacturing equipment and automated production systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MicroVellum libraries, product catalogs, and site-specific product offerings.
• Safely import, export, modify, and deploy products across multiple MicroVellum environments and site instances.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot product-related defects and configuration issues.
• Validate product functionality before release into production.
• Support product execution, machine performance, new product launches, and continuous improvement in collaboration with Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, IT, and equipment operators.
