About The Position

This role provides L3 support for Microsoft 365 services, acting as the final escalation point for complex incidents. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business requirements, performing tenant administration, health monitoring, and service optimization. Key areas of focus include Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), with responsibilities spanning administration, troubleshooting, and support for adoption and modernization initiatives. The role also involves implementing and maintaining Microsoft security best practices, supporting audits and compliance, and collaborating with cybersecurity teams. Automation through PowerShell scripting and continuous improvement through developing runbooks and identifying efficiencies are also crucial aspects of this position.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
  • Experience with hybrid environments and identity synchronization.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lead major incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience working in global 24x7 enterprise environments.

  • Experience with Intune, Purview, Defender, and Power Platform is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 support for Microsoft 365 services and act as the final escalation point for complex incidents.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Perform tenant administration, health monitoring, and service optimization.
  • Manage Exchange Online administration, mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and compliance policies.
  • Troubleshoot complex mailbox, calendaring, mail routing, and hybrid Exchange issues.
  • Support email migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Administer Teams policies, governance, voice configurations, and collaboration services.
  • Troubleshoot Teams client, meeting, calling, and integration issues.
  • Support Teams adoption and optimization initiatives.
  • Manage SharePoint Online sites, permissions, storage, content management, and governance.
  • Troubleshoot site performance, access, search, and integration issues.
  • Support collaboration and document management solutions.
  • Administer user lifecycle management, groups, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Governance.
  • Manage SSO, application integrations, and federation services.
  • Support identity security, access reviews, and compliance initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft security best practices.
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and security investigations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance tenant security posture.
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
  • Create operational runbooks and knowledge articles.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and operational efficiencies.
