About The Position

Doctor's Data, Inc. is hiring a Microbiology Sample Prep Technician to work in a clinical laboratory setting with biological samples. The technician prepares culture plates and slides for microbiology, as well as tubes and slides for parasitology. The role requires maintaining orderly, sequential sample processing and ensuring proper sample-to-test matching and identification of transport media for patient tests. The technician follows written standard operating procedures and quality control policies, communicates production issues and inventory needs to the department manager or team leader, uses chemicals and disinfectant solutions safely, and maintains a clean work environment. The position requires flexibility and a professional demeanor in a demanding work environment. The scheduled hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a Saturday rotation. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biology, clinical science, or laboratory science.
Ability to work the scheduled 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, including a Saturday rotation.

Responsibilities

Prepare culture plates and slides for microbiology.
Prepare tubes and slides for parasitology.
Work with biological samples in a clinical laboratory setting.
