Location: This position is onsite at the Parnall East located in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).

Requirements

Proven capability to develop strong, productive relationships that enable effective decision‑making and cross‑functional problem solving.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to respond effectively to emergent operational issues, including serving in on‑call and storm response roles within an Incident Command System (ICS) structure.
Deep understanding of SCADA platforms and real-time control centers data communication protocols.
Expertise in real-time operations, HMI development, data acquisition, and historians.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, IEC 62443).
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. (Required) with 7 years or more of experience in SCADA, industrial control systems, automation engineering, or real-time operations. (Required)
Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. (Required) with 9 years or more of experience in SCADA, industrial control systems, automation engineering, or real-time operations. (Required)
High School Diploma/GED with 10 or more years experience in SCADA, industrial control systems, automation engineering, or real-time operations. (Required)

Responsibilities

Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of SCADA enhancements and issue resolution.
Oversee cybersecurity compliance activities.
Plan and manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
Cultivate strong collaboration with cross‑functional partners—including IT, OT, cybersecurity, field operations, regulatory teams, and control centers—to drive unified SCADA strategies, resolve complex issues, and deliver high‑value operational outcomes.
Manage, coach, and develop team members.
Lead modernization initiatives including upgrades and architecture improvements.
Provide leadership and direction for SCADA engineering teams.
Lead the integration of SCADA platforms with field devices, databases, historians, and enterprise systems.
Other duties as assigned or necessary.
Establish and maintain SCADA architecture standards and engineering practices.
Develop long‑term SCADA technology roadmaps and recommend strategic investments that strengthen system reliability, cybersecurity, scalability, and future operational capabilities.
Maintain audit readiness and lead SCADA incident escalation.
