About The Position
The E50 Propulsion and Reactor Engineering Planning Yard (PREPY) is seeking a leader to supervise the team responsible for developing and publishing component and equipment technical manuals, used by the fleet and shipyards for operating and maintaining aircraft carrier propulsion plant systems and equipment. PREPY functions as a Planning Yard for NAVSEA and provides life cycle maintenance, modernization, and engineering support to the fleet and shipyards performing aircraft carrier construction and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; OR Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with NNPP propulsion plant systems and operation.
- Advanced technical and specification writing skills and experience.
- Advanced project management and communication skills.
