About The Position

The selected candidate will lead a team responsible for A1B electrical distribution components, which includes the development, design and troubleshooting of such components. The candidate should be knowledgeable in the components that support power distribution and power protection. Familiar with the procedures that govern the development and revision of Propulsion Plant Manuals and Component Technical Manuals. The candidate should be able to build strong relationships, communicate well verbally, work well with a variety of customers (NAVSEA, NNL, Waterfront, Naval Yard, etc.) and support knowledge transfer across the value stream.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; OR Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice To Haves

Experience with A4W and A1B components is preferred.
Waterfront experience.
Experience with ship alternation development and execution.

Responsibilities
