Position Summary The CVS Health Finance Talent Strategy team delivers development experiences that build the pipeline of future Finance talent. The Manager, Finance Talent Programs will partner with the Finance Talent Strategy leaders and key stakeholders to support Finance’s emerging talent programs, with primary responsibility for the Finance Internship Program and Finance & Internal Audit Externships. In addition to leading key experiences in these programs, this individual will coordinate cross-functional projects, manage timelines and deliverables, track program milestones, support stakeholder engagement, and drive the successful execution of strategic priorities across the Finance Talent Strategy function. A successful candidate will be adaptable, organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering an engaging and well-coordinated experience for program participants and partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in program management, talent development, talent acquisition, human resources, learning and development, project management, or completion/graduated from a CVS Health Leadership Development Program.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across organizational levels.
  • Experience coordinating programs, events, communications, or operational processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
  • Ability to travel based on program and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle operations for the Finance Internship Program and Finance & Internal Audit Externship Program, including recruiting, placement, onboarding, development, and program completion.
  • Partners with Corporate University Relations, Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance leaders, and other stakeholders to attract, select, and develop program talent.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify program enhancements that benefit both program participants and managers
  • Identify internship opportunities and facilitate participant placement based on program requirements, business needs, and participant interests.
  • Lead the Finance & Internal Audit Externship strategy and programming to build a strong pipeline for their respective internship programs.
  • Identify and deliver development opportunities, including technical training, business exposure, speakers, networking, and experiential learning.
  • Coordinate intern evaluation and selection activities, including participant presentations, interviews, manager feedback, and the transition to the Finance Leadership Development Program.
  • Promote inclusion/incorporation/partnership with other finance adjacent programs (i.e. Tax, Procurement, Internal Audit).
  • Collaborate with other Emerging Talent Programs and leaders outside of finance as needed.
  • Provide project-management and administrative support for broader Finance Talent Strategy priorities as assigned
  • Plan and execute program events, including onboarding, training sessions, engagement activities, and participant recognition.
  • Manage program plans, calendars, communications, meeting materials, action items, processing documentation, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate participant information, program records, distribution lists, shared resources, and other operational documentation.
  • Support annual budget planning and reforecasting, track program expenses, and coordinate invoices, expense reports, vendors, and required approvals.
  • Track program data and participant feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
