About The Position

AmeriVet is seeking a strategic and highly collaborative Manager, Talent Acquisition Programs to design, lead, and scale national programs that strengthen our early career engine and elevate the AmeriVet brand and employee value proposition. This role will focus on College of Veterinary Medicine engagement, technician training programs, and a national conference strategy that drives top-of-funnel awareness, candidate engagement, and conversion. Serving as a strategist and program leader within the Talent Acquisition function, this person will partner closely with Medicine, Marketing, DVM Engagement leaders, and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to build integrated programs that support early career hiring goals and strengthen AmeriVet’s position as an employer of choice. This role has no direct reports.

Requirements

5+ years of campus recruiting, early career programs, university relations, employer branding, or related program management experience.
Experience building or scaling early career, internship, externship, student engagement, technician training, or workforce pipeline programs.
Strong strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to partner with clinical, business, marketing, and talent acquisition leaders to design and execute high-impact programs.
Experience developing employer brand or candidate engagement strategies that support awareness, attraction, and conversion.
Expertise using data, reporting, and funnel metrics to evaluate program performance and inform decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Talent Acquisition programs that support AmeriVet’s early career hiring goals and broader workforce priorities.
Serve as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition leadership, translating organizational goals into scalable programs that drive pipeline growth, engagement, and conversion.
Develop program roadmaps, success measures, timelines, and stakeholder alignment plans to ensure consistent execution and measurable outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve candidate journeys across early career, conference, and engagement channels, with a focus on moving prospects from awareness to hire.
Use data and stakeholder insights to assess program effectiveness, recommend improvements, and prioritize initiatives that create the greatest impact.
Build and manage AmeriVet’s early career talent engine, with a focus on College of Veterinary Medicine engagement, technician training programs, externship pathways, and entry-level hiring pipelines.
Partner closely with Medicine to design programs that support early career hires, strengthen clinical readiness, and create meaningful engagement before and after hire.
Collaborate with DVM Engagement leaders to align early career initiatives with broader doctor engagement, student outreach, and retention strategies.
Create scalable programming that connects prospective veterinarians and technicians with AmeriVet hospitals, mentors, learning opportunities, and career pathways.
Track top-of-funnel activity, engagement, application flow, offer acceptance, and conversion outcomes to continuously refine early career strategies.
Develop and lead a national conference engagement strategy that elevates the AmeriVet brand, strengthens awareness of the employee value proposition, and increases candidate engagement.
Partner with Marketing to define conference messaging, booth experience, collateral needs, lead capture processes, follow-up campaigns, and brand activation opportunities.
Create a consistent operating model for conference planning, execution, post-event nurture, and conversion tracking.
Collaborate with field, Medicine, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and DVM Engagement stakeholders to ensure conference investments are aligned to hiring priorities and brand goals.
Measure conference impact through lead volume, engagement quality, source conversion, candidate progression, and hiring outcomes.
Act as the connective tissue across Talent Acquisition, Medicine, Marketing, DVM Engagement, field leadership, and other partners to ensure programs are coordinated, aligned, and executed with excellence.
Facilitate regular stakeholder planning meetings to align on priorities, program performance, upcoming initiatives, and actions needed to support hiring goals.
Bring a strategic point of view on how AmeriVet can increase awareness, deepen engagement, and convert high-potential early career candidates into hires.
Create tools, playbooks, and repeatable processes that allow Talent Acquisition and business partners to execute programs consistently across markets.
Own program reporting and analytics for early career and conference channels, including lead capture, source performance, candidate progression, conversion rates, and hiring outcomes.
Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to define KPIs, establish baselines, monitor progress, and identify opportunities to increase top-of-funnel volume and improve conversion.
Analyze trends across schools, training programs, conferences, markets, and candidate segments to inform investment decisions and program prioritization.
Prepare insights and recommendations for leadership that connect program activity to hiring goals, brand awareness, candidate engagement, and return on investment.
