About The Position

This position is intended for the Ford Class Carrier group in Department E33. The incumbent will lead the Ford Class coatings design yard, developing and establishing requirements, deckplate troubleshooting during construction, planning and scoping efforts, and lead a diverse team of designers, engineers, and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• US Citizenship Required
• Final Clearance Required to Start

• Willingness and ability to work in industrial environments
• Working knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, & inspection
• Current or previously held certifications/qualifications in coatings & inspection (NBPI, NACE, SSPC, etc.)
