About The Position

This position will lead the E81 Nuclear Overhaul Digital Engineering (NODE) group for E81. The mission for this group is to prioritize and accelerate the development and deployment of reliable digital innovation solutions, with goals of improving schedule, cost performance, work execution, and worker efficiency. This group will have cognizance of digital transformation, digital innovation efforts, digital procedure department ownership, and support of the overarching Nuclear Propulsion Division (NPD) Technology Innovation program for the department. The chosen candidate will oversee a diverse team working on digital initiatives, interface with various levels of management (front line up to VP) to identify user needs and map them to a technical solution; interface with external customers; interface with 3rd party software/hardware suppliers; define and build upon the overall E81 IT strategy; and support solution implementation, product support and future improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design.
  • Ability to understand the business and integrate technology into the business/process.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Final Clearance Required to Start.

  • Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
