About The Position
The Western Region Consolidated Business Office delivers comprehensive insurance revenue services to our affiliated UHS facilities, encompassing billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance analysis, and customer service. The Collections Manager oversees the Collections team, who ensure timely and accurate processing of commercial medical insurance claims by reviewing the payor's Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The Collections Manager will provide the proper training, guidance, and knowledge to help the team succeed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical insurance billing.
- Reimbursement and medical claims experience.
- Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Billing/Collections coding education a plus.
