Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years in accreditation and compliance experience required
  • Regulatory and accreditation experience required
  • Strong written, verbal and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to read regulations and accreditation standards
  • Ability to work with varying levels of leadership
  • Ability to utilize data to develop dashboards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
  • DHS Background Study Required? Yes

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare accreditation strongly preferred
  • Experience with Compliance 360 or similar GRC tools

Responsibilities

  • Planning, designing, implementation, and maintenance of the hospital's accreditation and licensing status.
  • Ensuring that the hospital and all services included in the State of Minnesota license are in continual readiness status for The Joint Commission (TJC), Department of Health Services (DHS), and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) surveys.
  • Overall continual regulatory readiness and compliance with all standards of accreditation and certification.
  • Acting as the primary liaison with the external surveyors and other regulatory representatives.
