About The Position

This role focuses on designing processes for new products, proposing efficient ideas, and studying Line KPIs to prepare for production and resolve technical issues. The engineer will be responsible for improving profitability through productivity enhancements such as labor savings, defect reduction, and equipment breakdown reduction. They will also analyze and improve existing production lines to optimize productivity based on volume trends, establish in-plant technologies like automated assembly and inspection, and deploy these technologies to other lines. The position involves working collaboratively within a team, following the PDCA cycle to achieve plant targets and KPIs, and defining, scheduling, implementing, monitoring, and standardizing improvements. Cost estimates for improvement ideas, including equipment, tooling, packaging, and installation costs, will be performed with supervision.
