About The Position

Responsible for activities related to manufacturing and packaging potential and existing products. The operator uses and maintains small production equipment; weighs, measures, and checks raw materials to ensure batches contain the correct ingredients and quantities; and maintains records and cleanliness in compliance with cGMP, SOP, and safety protocols. The role includes manufacturing, packaging, punching, and pouching products; setting up equipment; inspecting labels, patches, and pouches; and supporting special packaging for clinical studies. The operator also assists with shipping, receiving, and warehousing, and performs related duties and assigned projects.

Requirements

High school diploma or technical training.
At least two years of professional experience with knowledge of manufacturing processes related to the pharmaceutical industry; alternatively, one to three years of experience in another industry with demonstrated ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly.
Good communication skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate machinery as necessary.
Ability to regularly lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Process products in strict compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
Operate and maintain production equipment.
Participate in production activities, including manufacturing, packaging, punching, and pouching products.
Clean equipment and the manufacturing room in compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
Set up equipment for operation.
Inspect labels, patches, and pouches, and support special packaging for clinical studies.
Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Weigh, measure, and check raw materials to ensure batches contain the proper ingredients and quantities.
Maintain records and cleanliness in compliance with cGMP, SOP, and safety protocols.
