About The Position

The Mfg Operator BC performs general manufacturing duties and operates equipment to manufacture products. The operator handles components in accordance with standard operating procedures and cGMP guidelines, ensuring products meet quality requirements. The role also includes completing required documentation and records to maintain quality control. The position works on a pharmaceutical plant floor and involves operating production equipment with minimal supervision from the LMO. Operators must follow approved standards, stringent documentation requirements, and required procedures for working with controlled substances.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to operate production equipment with minimal supervision from the LMO.
Ability to adhere to stringent documentation requirements.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must meet medical requirements for personal protective equipment used in manufacturing.
Ability to work with controlled substances and follow all required procedures.
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch occasionally.
Ability to lift or move 50 pounds or greater.

Responsibilities

Operate punching, pouching, and cartooning machines.
Operate blending, coating, and slitting machines.
Blend ingredients for the coating process.
Set up and operate equipment in the assigned area of responsibility.
Ensure the work center operates safely and produces products that meet established quality standards and cGMP and SOP guidelines.
Check and weigh components to ensure compliance.
Clean production rooms and equipment.
Perform duties as trained and assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Complete assigned training curriculums within specified time frames before performing activities associated with the training topic.
Complete documentation to prescribed standards.
Determine whether work complies with approved standards and Noven Pharmaceuticals Inc. guidelines.
