Requirements

  • 2-year technical certification or 7 years of semiconductor technician experience
  • 7 years of experience in metrology tool maintenance
  • Strong understanding of metrology tool operation principles
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of SPC and FDC, with a focus on improving overall equipment performance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of Applied Materials Complus-2 Optical Inspection systems
  • Knowledge Applied Materials Nano-SEM 3D and Verity 4i CDSEM systems
  • Knowledge of Applied Materials SEM-Vision G3 DRSEM systems
  • Experience working with Mocha end station ports
  • Strong computer and networking skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on the metrology toolset within Fab25
  • Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot equipment failures
  • Monitor equipment processes and seek opportunities for improvement
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues
  • Disassemble, clean, and rebuild the metrology subsystem
  • Replace worn or damaged SEM components
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Monitor tools' performance and recommend improvements or upgrades
  • Maintain the inventory of spare parts and tools required for tool service
