About The Position

We are seeking a Metrics Business Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO (LCSRON TWO) in Mayport, Florida. The Metrics Business Analyst will support business intelligence, performance measurement, metric standardization, and accountability across squadron business operations. The successful candidate will provide analytical assessments to senior leadership and help maintain command-wide visibility into parts movement, material readiness, maintenance execution, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analysis, or a related field, or equivalent military/commercial experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in business management and systems analysis.
  • Active Secret security clearance required on the first day of performance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Navy, Department of Defense (DoD), or another federal agency.
  • Experience developing operational or command-level performance dashboards.
  • Experience analyzing maintenance, logistics, supply-chain, or material-readiness data.
  • Familiarity with military supply and readiness environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, analyze, track, and publish Active Cannibalization (ACANN) metrics across the squadron.
  • Monitor ACANN turnaround times and their impact on material readiness, maintenance execution, and operational availability.
  • Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop immediate and long-term process improvement recommendations for Department Heads and senior leadership.
  • Build, maintain, and distribute command-level dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytical products.
  • Translate complex operational data into clear visualizations and executive-level presentations.
  • Support business-process analysis and performance accountability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Navy stakeholders and technical personnel to improve reporting and data visibility.
