About The Position

The Metric & Data Analyst serves as the organization’s data translator, turning raw, often-disparate data sets into intuitive, interactive visualizations that drive decision-making. By combining rigorous, data-driven analysis with clear, compelling visual communication, you will enable every level of the organization—from front-line supervisors to senior leadership—to make informed, timely decisions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and advance the company’s mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end Tableau solutions
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot) and familiarity with advanced functions or VBA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to create clear, concise reports, dashboards, and visual stories that drive decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, operations, product, etc.) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Power BI, Google Data Analytics, SAS Base, or Certified Analytics Professional) are a plus.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role (internships or academic projects count).
  • Self-starter with strong time-management and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
  • Prior Mechanical or Electrical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
  • Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
  • Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
