About The Position

Conservice is hiring a Meter Technician for a hands-on field role installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing water, gas, and electric submeters and their communication systems. The work takes place at multifamily properties, new construction sites, and select retail locations to support accurate utility billing data collection. The work is physically demanding and includes climbing ladders, working at heights and in tight spaces, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more, and working outdoors in all weather. Technicians may work around energized electrical equipment and pressurized gas and water lines while following safety procedures and wearing required PPE. Company vehicle, gas card, laptop, cell phone, and hand tools are provided. Initial training may last up to three weeks and may involve travel, with ongoing job-specific instruction afterward.
