About The Position

Receiving, handling, issuing, shipping, and inventorying all items of metering materials and equipment using the ADM (meter inventory and tracking) system. This role also assists in issuing and shipping metering materials.

Requirements

Meet the time-in-grade requirement for the “Agreement” and pass the required progression exams.
Have a working knowledge of metering M&S Codes as well as the SAP equivalent MID IDs.
Have a working knowledge of the MMS Stock coded Items and their MID IDs.
Able to operate mechanical equipment to move and store materials and equipment.
Familiar with safety and OSHA requirements and perform work accordingly.
Able to work independently and plan daily work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Thoroughly familiar with the location of all items.
Lifting / carrying up to 80 lbs.
Normal physical Dexterity.
Ability to work in environments exposed to fumes/gases/chemicals, dust and fine operation and proximity to moving machinery.
Accurate with numbers.
Ability to work with others.
Ability to work around others.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Working knowledge of ADM.
Working knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

Receiving all shipments of new and old materials and supplies and checking them against records by device serial number on the ADM system.
Properly handling, packing, transport, and storage of all types of meters and associated metering equipment.
Knowing the location of stock coded items and assisting in shipping.
Preparing all metering equipment for testing and final calibration.
Assisting in issuing requested materials and equipment by Service Center or Division in a timely manner.
Reporting the need for replenishment of stock items as requested.
Assisting with the annual inventory in the Meter Lab.
Receiving, properly handling, and coordinating disposal of hazardous waste with NASC Warehouse and environmental services.
Assisting in generating and maintaining correct bar codes and bin locations on all appropriate metering equipment.
Becoming familiar with the Company’s operating standards, policies, safety instructions, and directives pertaining to the assignments.
Performing other appropriate duties as directed.
