About The Position

We are seeking a skilled craftsperson with hands-on experience in metal finishing, grinding, sanding, and operating precision equipment like blast cabinets and ultrasonic cleaners. This role is crucial for transforming 3D-printed metal creations into polished, customer-ready marvels that directly impact life-saving medical devices used worldwide. The position involves mastering cutting-edge 3D printing post-processing techniques, working with titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum parts in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a strong attention to detail, quality standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with a passionate team to solve unique challenges and push the boundaries of what's possible in 3D-printed healthcare solutions. The work environment is onsite, with a specific schedule of Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to wear Full Face, Half Face, and/or Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (fit-testing provided during hiring and annually)
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Hands-on experience in metal finishing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Experience operating precision equipment like blast cabinets and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to alternate between seated and standing positions.
  • Ability to handle materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Master cutting-edge 3D printing post-processing techniques, including finishing titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum parts.
  • Operate precision grinders, sanders, blast cabinets, and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Ensure product quality meets exacting standards, impacting patient care worldwide.
  • Alternate between seated and standing positions during work.
  • Lift up to 50lbs and perform sustained physical tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
  • Collaborate with a team to solve challenges and innovate in 3D-printed healthcare solutions.
  • Work on export-controlled products from aerospace and defense customers.
