About The Position

This role is for a skilled craftsperson with hands-on experience in metal finishing, grinding, sanding, and operating precision equipment like blast cabinets and ultrasonic cleaners. The position requires comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, alternating between seated and standing positions while handling materials up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are essential, as the work directly impacts life-saving medical devices used worldwide. The role involves mastering cutting-edge 3D printing post-processing techniques and contributing to healthcare innovation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to wear Full Face, Half Face, and/or Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (fit-testing provided during hiring and annually)

Responsibilities

  • Transform 3D-printed metal creations into polished, customer-ready products.
  • Gain hands-on experience with advanced 3D printing post-processing techniques, including finishing titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum parts.
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Operate high-tech equipment such as precision grinders, sanders, blast cabinets, and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Ensure product quality meets exacting standards, impacting patient care.
  • Perform hands-on work alternating between seated and standing positions.
  • Stay active while creating tangible results daily.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team to solve unique challenges and advance 3D-printed healthcare solutions.
  • Lift up to 50lbs and perform sustained physical tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace, adhering to high standards crucial in medical manufacturing.
  • Participate in daytime training on either 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) or 2nd shift (1pm-9:30pm) during the initial onboarding period.
