About The Position
As a Metallurgical Laboratory Technician at StandardAero, you’ll provide technical support to quality and process control, environmental monitoring, and process development in a manufacturing setting. You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, prepare solutions and specimens, record and interpret results, and provide chemical technical support for wastewater treatment. You are responsible for observing applicable safety requirements and promptly reporting unsafe practices or conditions.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior tensile testing experience in a manufacturing setting.
Nice To Haves
- CCL certification.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus.
- Prepare solutions, reagents, and sample formulations.
- Compile, record, and interpret experimental or analytical results.
- Provide chemical technical support for wastewater treatment.
- Observe applicable safety requirements and immediately report unsafe practices or conditions.
- Prepare process control specimens for production personnel according to Laboratory Standard Operations.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
