About The Position

As a Metallic Coating Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! This role requires working in a production environment with a high level of safety awareness and adherence to all PPG safety protocols. The position involves applying organic coatings to acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass substrates within a cleanroom environment, which necessitates wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be working with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone, and will be required to wear a respirator. Additionally, you will monitor UV curing robots and perform TPMs (Total Productive Maintenance) on equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
  • Must have good record keeping skills.
  • Proficient with using a computer and basic understanding of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or political asylee or refugee.
  • Must provide one of the following forms of identification as part of their application: (1) Passport, (2) Birth Certificate, (3) Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or (4) Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
