Metallic Coating Technician - 2nd Shift
About The Position
As a Metallic Coating Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or political asylee or refugee.
- Must provide one of the following forms of identification: Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working in a production environment with a high level of safety awareness.
- Follow all PPG safety protocols and encourage a broad safety culture.
- Applying organic coatings to acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass substrates.
- Working in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing PPE.
- Working with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone.
- Maintain good record keeping skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Positively contribute to a team environment.
- Collaborate with team members and support team engagement initiatives.
- Proficient with using a computer and basic understanding of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Perform TPMs on equipment.
- Required to wear a respirator.
- Monitor UV curing robots.
