This role involves safely and efficiently operating a stamping press to produce stamped parts, with a primary focus on safety, quality, and efficient production techniques using NASG Press standards and procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or GED - minimum.
Basic computer skills.
Demonstrated basic math skills.
2 Years manufacturing experience.
Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with a dynamic and demanding team.
Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties.
Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required.
Ability to work at a fast pace.
Accountable - teachable - approachable.
Ability to learn, make decisions, and be creative & flexible.
Ability to problem solve.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Ability to stand up for a minimum of 8 hours.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in an assembly / manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a stamping press producing stamped parts.
Keep station clean and orderly (5-S as a PRIORITY).
Initiate press start-up and adjust as required after a set-up.
Changeover & Set-up of stamping dies and presses.
Adjust process parameters as dictated from the Die Set-up sheet.
Set-up and adjust auxiliary equipment as required (coil feeders, straighteners, etc.).
Perform Part Inspection per Inspection Instructions, including visual inspections.
Report updated information from Die Set-up sheets to Leaders as needed.
Verify production schedule using the Shop Edge system.
Report all quality, production, or safety problems to the Team Leader.
Perform & maintain 5-S standards in the area of responsibility.
Suggest methods of improvement (e.g., continuous improvement plan & performance award program).
Be available for overtime as required.
