About The Position

Hadco Metal Trading, a long-stable and globally recognized distributor of semi-finished metals and plastics, is looking to hire experienced Industrial Machine Operators for their metal cutting operations in their Claremore facility. The Metal Saw Operators will work a 1st shift with 8-10 hours per shift Sunday-Saturday. Hadco Metal Trading distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastics. Their business model revolves around their extensive inventory, which includes over 20,000 distinct items. Requirements

• Solid math skills, including measuring with fractions and decimals
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Familiar with ERP or similar production operations, inventory, or warehouse management systems
• Minimum 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and/or CNC saws and machinery to accurately cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Monitor machine operation for accuracy throughout the cutting processes.
• Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.
