About The Position

The Metal Saw Operator reviews production cut lists, determines the time required for each job, verifies material specifications, and cuts parts to specification. The operator stages parts according to Standard Conventions, accurately tracks and documents cutting time, maintains a clean and organized work area, communicates discrepancies to Leads, and assists other areas as directed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of metal and materials.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of materials and tooling, including application of best practices.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, and bending.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and safety shoes, where necessary.
