About The Position

Ross Metal Fabricators is seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to prepare, grind, deburr, and polish steel and stainless-steel components to required surface-finish specifications. The role involves operating pneumatic and electric hand tools and producing finishes ranging from approximately 70 RA (80 grit) to a 4 RA mirror finish. The polisher inspects completed parts for quality, follows safety and quality procedures, and works with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience polishing, grinding, and finishing steel and stainless-steel components.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to perform visual inspections to ensure parts are completed properly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must maintain a professional, clean, and organized work area.
• Must possess basic personal tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, and a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

• Experience polishing stainless steel to specified surface-finish requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, and polish steel and stainless-steel parts and components.
• Safely and effectively operate pneumatic and electric grinding and polishing hand tools.
