About The Position
The 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am, Metal Finisher plays a critical role in ensuring that metal components meet precise quality and aesthetic standards before they proceed to the next stage of production or shipment. This position involves working during the second shift to apply various finishing techniques such as grinding, polishing, buffing, and deburring to metal parts. The Metal Finisher must carefully inspect each piece to identify imperfections and apply corrective measures to achieve a smooth, defect-free surface. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain product integrity and workplace safety. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain metal finishing equipment including grinders, polishers, and buffers during the 2nd shift.
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as deburring, sanding, and polishing to meet quality specifications.
- Inspect metal parts for defects, surface imperfections, and dimensional accuracy, documenting findings as required.
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure finished products meet customer and company standards.
