About The Position

A day in this role You start with a set of mechanical prints and a stack of metal siding panels. You mark out dimensions, lay out window and door openings, and plan your sequence of cuts and bends. Saws hum, drills bite clean holes, and grinders finish edges as you bring the exterior of a custom enclosure to life. Throughout the build, you verify measurements with a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers to ensure every panel fits precisely. Some days you’re at an indoor station; others, you’re outside assembling to meet project timelines—always focused on safety and quality. What you’ll build Exterior shells for custom metal enclosures built from metal siding panels—cut, drilled, bent, and assembled to exact specifications.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in fabrication, construction, or related trades.
• Confident reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong fabrication aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
• High proficiency with tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring.
• Comfortable with power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Reliable, safety‑minded, and adaptable to varied work environments.

Nice To Haves

• Background in residential siding or framing is strongly preferred; general metal fabrication experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install metal siding panels to form enclosure exteriors.
• Cut, bend, and drill panels from mechanical drawings and precise measurements.
• Interpret mechanical prints, blueprints, and fabrication diagrams.
• Verify dimensions using a tape measure and precision tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Operate common fabrication tools, including saws, drills, grinders, and other construction/fabrication equipment.
• Deliver accurate cuts, tight fits, and clean installations; the most complex cuts often include window and door openings.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on project needs.
