Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Trade school preferred.
5+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience, preferably in aviation or high-precision manufacturing.
Demonstrated expertise in complex fabrication and assembly.
Advanced knowledge of fabrication techniques, tooling, and materials.
Strong understanding of FAA/RSQM requirements.
Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to mentor and develop junior technicians.

Responsibilities

Fabricate complex sheet metal parts and assemblies requiring advanced forming, fitting, and precision.
Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent.
Perform advanced layout, forming, and assembly operations with tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all work meets FAA regulations, RSQM standards, and customer expectations.
Inspect and verify work for quality and dimensional accuracy.
Provide guidance and technical support to lower-level technicians.
Support process improvements related to fabrication efficiency and quality.
Coordinate with engineering and leadership on technical challenges.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
