About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a part-time seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to work at Walmart 4340 in Hesperia, California. The role promotes Meta products in a local big-box retail setting through product demonstrations, customer engagement, and collaboration with store associates. Product and technology training is provided, with product and technology certifications completed remotely using a laptop or phone.

The schedule is 12 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m., from November 7, 2026, through January 24, 2027. Additional shifts are added in November and December for key shopping days. Holiday availability is required the day before Thanksgiving and on two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. Compensation is $21 per hour plus a seasonal completion bonus, subject to attendance requirements, employee standing, and KPI achievement.

The position offers weekly base pay, access to on-demand cashouts through DailyPay, paid training, potential career pathways, and sales contests that may include Meta products, promotional items, or gift cards. The role requires a smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer and reliable personal transportation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and at least three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive Meta experiences to shoppers.
• Proactively engage shoppers and provide welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
• Explain product features and benefits based on customer interests and needs.
• Guide customers from initial engagement and product demonstration through asking for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products ready for demonstrations, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
• Build relationships with store teams and inform them about current products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
• Complete product and technology certifications and training.
