About The Position

Meta Connect is Meta's flagship event and a global showcase of innovation. This role involves being a tech-savvy brand ambassador, demonstrating the latest Meta Wearables, Meta AI, and Meta VR/MR technology to thousands of attendees at Meta's Menlo Park headquarters. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, thrives in dynamic environments, and enjoys creating memorable customer experiences. This position plays a key role in bringing Meta's innovations to life. The role requires full availability from September 19th-21st for training and September 22nd-24th for 8-12 hour event shifts, with hours varying between 8:30 am to midnight. The company also offers part-time and full-time employment opportunities with flexible options for long-term work assignments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of in-person product demonstration experience
• 1+ year customer-facing experience in experiential or retail sales environments required
• Exemplary interpersonal communicational skills - written, verbal, and on-camera
• Authentic, engaging, and energetic with a customer-first mentality
• Tech-savvy and passionate about technology
• Attentive to deadlines, start times, and reporting requests
• Ability to multi-task and remain agile and flexible as details and event needs change and evolve
• Natural relationship builder: ability to build and foster business relationships independently at multiple levels
• Ability to remain professional at all times while showing patience and tact, remaining calm under pressure, and practicing good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking, and decision-making
• High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn and succeed
• Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation

Responsibilities

• Hands-on demonstrations of our clients' wearables and Quest products in an event setting
• Actively engage with event attendees
• Be an expert on our client’s products
• Submit event recap reporting capturing insights & audience feedback
• Other tasks as assigned by management
