About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You build and maintain eye-catching product displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase in-demand products. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to find and access.

Most work does not involve direct customer interaction, but you may assist customers when opportunities arise by listening, answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores, and work in both indoor and outdoor conditions with variable climates, noise, and moving equipment.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual ability, military experience, or veteran status; Lowe's encourages candidates with these backgrounds to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digital maintenance of this information throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Stage clearance products, sort products into proper locations, and position displays appropriately to help drive add-on sales.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
